How to install

Peel. Stick. Done — properly.

Both FWW lines install without contractors. The steps below are the exact method we use in our own installations — follow them and the wall comes out right the first time.

1

Measure your wall

Calculate the total area. If you have baseboards, measure from the top of the baseboard — not the floor. Feed the numbers into the calculator below; it adds the 10% for cuts and waste for you.

2

Prepare the surface

The wall must be clean, dry, dust-free, with no peeling paint or loose plaster. Peel & stick adhesive needs a smooth, stable surface to bond properly.

3

Plan the layout

Check the wall for level and square. Decide each panel's position and the direction of the interlocking edge before removing any adhesive backing.

4

Cut to size

Use a compact circular saw or miter saw for clean, straight cuts (a jigsaw works too). Run masking tape along the cut line so the melamine face never chips.

5

Practice the position

With the backing still on, hold the panel against the wall and check alignment and edge fit. Repeat until you're confident — it's a no-risk rehearsal.

6

Peel the backing

Remove the protective film from the double-sided industrial tape. The adhesive is now live — handle the panel by its edges.

7

Align & stick

Rest the panel on its edge against the previous one, check it sits flush along the full length, then lower it onto the wall. The interlocking edge locks the alignment.

8

Press with a J-roller

Roll firmly across the entire surface. Full pressure equals full adhesion — this is what makes the bond permanent.

No second chances. Once the adhesive touches the wall, repositioning is very difficult. Always verify alignment before lowering the panel.
Mind the overlap. The interlocking edge (lap joint) keeps panels seamless — pay attention to the direction of overlap as you go.

How many boxes?

One LOFT box covers 2.73 m². Enter your wall as it is — we add the 10% cut & waste allowance for you.

1

Start with samples

Real wood varies — that's the point. Order the samples, hold them against your wall in daylight and at night, and choose with certainty.

2

Measure & calculate

Area = base × height. Subtract doors and windows and put the result into the calculator below — it adds the 10% waste allowance for you.

3

Let the wood acclimate

Unpack the planks and leave them in the room for at least 72 hours. Solid wood adjusts to your home's temperature and humidity before it goes on the wall.

4

Level line, then middle out

On installation day, wipe the wall clean. Draw a level reference line, start from the middle of the surface and work outward like a puzzle — step back every few planks to check the overall design.

5

Peel, stick & press

Cut planks as needed, remove the liner, place each one along your reference line and press firmly with the J-roller. Full pressure across the whole plank is what makes the bond hold.

Test first on tricky walls. On older or textured paint, stick one plank on a small, discreet area, press firmly, and check the bond after 48 hours before doing the full wall.
Varied lengths are normal. Most boxes mix plank lengths (prioritizing 122 cm planks) — that is part of the natural, layered TERRA look.

How many boxes?

Most TERRA boxes cover 0.93 m² — the exact figure is printed on your box. Enter your wall as it is; we add the 10% waste allowance for you.
