Samples
Decide with the wood in your hand.
A screen shows you a color; a sample shows you the truth — the grain, the finish, the way it changes at night with the lights on. It is the cheapest way to be sure before you order boxes.

Make them count
How to use a sample properly.
How many samples should I order?
Two or three finishes you are genuinely torn between. More than that and the decision gets harder, not easier.
What do I do when they arrive?
Tape them to the actual wall — not a table. Look at them in daylight, then at night with your lamps on. Wood shifts a lot between the two.
Are samples returnable?
No, and they do not need to be — they are yours to keep. Samples, trims and accessories are excluded from returns.
